SereJedi was the original Corellian Jedi Academy. With great pride we developed it into one of the finest teaching facilities in the galaxy. When a group from Carida came to Corellia after their Academy was destroyed, another small makeshift academy was needed to contain the overflow.
The Council realized that with the two academies so close together it would be more productive to move the more established one to a place where it's leadership and faculty could train a more refined group of Jedi.
It's name is Corellian meaning Serene Jedi and will remain that in honor of the homeworld of Jedi Knight Dash Rendar.
